Striking-off of Companies
Strike off your dormant companies to avoid unnecessary compliance fees.
Maintaining a dormant company can lead to ongoing statutory filing obligations and compliance fees, even when there is no active business activity. To avoid these unnecessary costs, Providence offers professional assistance in applying to strike off dormant companies from the register maintained by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). We ensure that your application is properly prepared and submitted in compliance with all regulatory requirements, helping you complete the process smoothly and efficiently.
To qualify for strike-off, the company must meet the following conditions:
- Company records in the Summary of Returns Lodged are accurate and up to date.
- No outstanding summonses, composition fines, or warrants of arrest issued by ACRA or the Court.
- No outstanding penalties or composition fines owing to ACRA.
- No outstanding tax liabilities with IRAS and no debts to any other government departments.
- No outstanding charges registered under the Register of Charges.
- The company is not involved in any ongoing or pending legal proceedings within or outside Singapore.
- The majority of shareholders have provided written consent for the strike-off.
- The company has no contingent assets or liabilities (i.e., potential future claims or obligations).
- The company has remained dormant.
